I’ll be making some Christmas cards early this yr, since my parents & I will be going to Monterey, California for a week (December 11-15) & will be our major Crhistmas gift; I’ve already started setting up my stuff to make them. Now all I have to do, is choose the people I’ve sent cards to in the past, then separate them & start on the 1s in Canada & Ireland, 1st, then across the country, then in the west coast. Who knows, I may get them done, before cookie baking (shhhhh, don’t tell my dad that).

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
I had a great time & had met some guests from shows I watched when I was little; I had a great time, got to meet Michelle Belanger (author of The Psychic Vampire Codex) & was a CXS Fairy all through the con. I’ll be posting a Blog about it very soon & will tell you a lot more about it & more exciting stuff; I took some photos, but not as many as I usually take. I’m still recovering & gitty as a kid about meeting people I watched when I was little. As soon as I lighten up some photos & add them to a site or 1 of my Profiles, I’ll give you link for you all to see.

I’ve been there & know how it feels; moving sucks, but once you get settled in & start unpacking, it gets easier…..I think. When we moved from the coast of Northern California to the Sierra Nevada Foothills, we had to replace a flat tire, had all my dad’s fish tanks & the cat in the wagon & had to travel at night to a motel, nearby our house; I’m living in my dream home & am already dreaming up another 1.

I chose Colin Baker as my favourite Dr, in memory of my Grandmamma Vaughn who would’ve made me a coat similiar to his, since she wore bright colours herself; my other favourite Dr is Peter Davison, since he’s right after Tom & was in some other shows, including `All Creatures Great & Small’. They’re both cute & are very active Drs, each 1 unique & used a lot of the 1st 3 Drs personalities for their portrayal of the Dr.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
My top 5 favourite Sci-Fi characters are:
1) 5th Dr, Dr Who: He’s the youngest, who’s ever played The Dr & had very interesting companions to help him out; he also went to interesting planets & met some strange beasts, including the dumb Daleks. I also like his costume & how he wore it; I even liked how he portrayed The Dr.
2) Diana, V (all of them): She was the most evil, yet cunning character on the show; 1 minute, she was `nice’ & `sweet’, the next, mean & definitely cruel. I also liked the way she walked & how she would hide in places you wouldn’t expect her to be; I also liked the way she talked to the (8-yr old) Elizabeth, while the Resistance was trying to take over the ship.
3) Kai, Lexx: I liked him in all of his outfits, because he looked hot in them; I also liked the way he walked & talked, especially to both Stan & Xev. I even liked his brace & how he managed (over & over again) to try to kill Prince.
4) Twiki, Buck Rogers: I relate to how he walks, since, when I was learning how to walk again, I’d walk just like that; I also liked his wonderful sense of humour & how he spoke to Buck.
5) Peri Brown, Dr Who: I likee her style & how she kept from losing her cool, when Colin would take her to places she didn’t want to go; I also liked her amazing costumes & created a couple similiar to her’s. I also liked her attitude towards how the Dr (Colin Baker) would always manage to tell her to stay there, even though, he knew she wouldn’t.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
After making both the canes & the molds, I gently put the canes into the mold (using baby power), adding more cnaes, then smoothing them out; I then gently removed the, newly formed tips from the mold & continued to smooth the canes together; I then baked them & allowed them to cool; using a sander & a bowl of water, I gently sanded the pieces, being careful not to break them, then dipped them in water; some of them broke during this process; then I set them aside to dry, then poilished them, making sure not to break them; some of them also broke during this process; I then had to make somemore tips for my arrows; I carefully strung the stem through the hole & twisted it; then I added some crafting wire, strung it through the hole & twisted it around the stem; I then folded the stem in half & twisted the bottom, then carefully strung the remaining stem through itself & twisted it. I’ve just started adding some feathers, for a finishing touch.
I’ll keep you informed on how this project’s going, how to add some feathers into your stem & when I’ll be adding them to a board.

I’ve finished stencilling the flowers on both pant legs, using fabric paint & have already started adding flowers to the waist; I’ll be adding more flowers to about mid-way down, on both sides, then I’ll be done. I’ll then take some pics of the outfit, add them to a board & show them to you.

Hi Fellow Sci-Fi Fans,
I’ve gone to both fan-based conventions (Gallifrey, Dragon*Con, TimeCon) & to nonfan-based conventions (Creation, ShuttleCon, StarQuest), with the intention of having fun; the fan-based conventions I’ve gone to, are organized a whole lot better than the the 1s that aren’t. When I’ve gone to the others, I’ve found they’re diorganized, nonproductive & very snitty; whereas, fan-based 1s, are more friendlier, very organized & productive in what they do.
I believe that a fan-based convention is better at realting to the fans, better than a nonfan-based convention; the nonfan-based convention only has 1 goal in mind, the more guests that better & let’s screw the fans. Plus, without us fans, there would be no conventions.

I’ll have to take a better look at the schedule on the Dragon*Con site; wow, I’m definitely gonna be there & those panles sound exciting. Thanks for the info, Frey & I’ll even check when my 3 music groups are gonna perform.
