I also kinda figured this would be your response to this, but I wasn’t really sure; when I was here & other places online, I was told 1 thing, then I went to a couple of their meetings last yr & found out some of them had up to 8 Usernames in 1 board; so I was a little confused on which was right. Thanks for the info about what’s going to be at this yr’s Dragon*Con’s Con Suite; it reminds me of Gally’s Con Suite, except for the Peanut Butter & Jelly. It sounds like they’ll have a lot of goodies & such for people to nibble on throughout the weekend, so they don’t have to go to find a place to eat. I’ll do what I usually do at conventions, eat a big breakfast in the morning, take my pill in the afternoon & eat dinner at the Con Suite, unless someone asks me to go to dinner with him. Spam-wich, now, you’re making me hungry, Frey, but hey, I won’t be on my program, so I can splirge a little.

This yr’s Gally convention was a whole lot of fun & 2 of the Drs came as guests, Peter Davison & Colin Baker; Peter had just come from the Sea Cruise, so he was still having sea legs. There were so much going on this yr that I didn’t get much time to go to the Dealers’ Room. There was the Cabaret, but nothing will ever top 2 yrs ago when Bonnie Langford did her concert, Masquerade, & Charity Auction; there were other guests from other Sci-Fi shows as well, including Bob May, Celeste Yarnell, Herb Jefferson, Jr, Julie Caitlin Brown & son Max. There’s tons to stuff to do, including dancing in the evening. This convention’s always held every yr at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, CA during the President’s Day Weekend. It’s a whole lot of fun & a small to medium size convention.

Hi All,
Since our US Government has concurred Iraq & pushed Saddam & his men (where ever they are) in hiding (if they’re still alive), took Iraqi Troupes as POW’s & have taken over Bagdad; because of this, the Iraqi people don’t want our Troupes there anymore. & besides of which, not all of Iraq, including Bagdad is safe & totally free; let’s let the Iraqis control their own country & get our Troupes back home safe & sound.

I know that King George wants to occupy Syria & get the chemical & biological weapons (which was the main reason for the War on Iraq) from them & get the rest of Saddam’s men; I say, `let’s finish up with the 1st war that was started & never finished, then concur another country.’ The war I’m talking about is the unfinished war after that horrific day of 9/11/2001, the war in Afghanistan.

I say, `Let’s make peace with China, France, Germany, Russia, Iraq & the rest of the world.’ There doesn’t need anymore wars; there needs to be peace in this world, especially for the next generation.

I’ve been reading the recent posts & find them most interesting; but has anyone forgot about the POW’s that were held captive & were just set free. & what about the soldiers still Missing in Action & the other POW’s they haven’t found yet.
😆 [color=blue][b]Hooray, our POW’s are free from their captures & finally home with their families.[/b][/color] 😆 😀 We all should celebrate our POW’s coming home; they’ve been held captuive since 3/23 & were finally set free from their captures, for feeding them from their own pockets, on 4/13; they’re finally coming home. 🙂
There’s still fighting that will remaining for awhile, including in Bagdad; we should pray everyday for their safe return home; there’s been enough killing, on both sides, that will last a lifetime.
This war hasn’t been won yet & won’t be declared for sometime, possibly weeks, months or a yr; but however long it takes, let’s just hope & pray for peace for this whole wide world.

Hi All,
I’d like to know what you all think is going to happen to Iraq when [u]all the fighting stops[/u] & there’s some order in the cities of the country. All I’ve read from this post, especially from A-DM, is either about Saddam Hussain, whether or not 1 supports our Troupes & attacking 1 another about whether a person is for or against the war. I’m not an idiot, blinded by things or anything else; I’m just hoping that we never forget what happened the last (1991) & just leave the Iraqi people hangin’ yet 1 more time.
This war that King George forced us into has nothing to do with NYC, TWTC (the World Trade Center) or the other war we’d forgotten (Afghanistan); instead of blaming King George & Blair, we’re picking on our Troupes instead of supporting them; it’s not their fault their there; King George put them there. We all shouldn’t be attacking 1 another for our points of view; instead, we all should be blaming the real person, King George. He’s the 1 separating his own people; anyway, King George doesn’t believe in peace.
I’m a peaceful person that believes in peaceful solutions to everything; what we need to do now is to keep our Troupes in Iraq until they have some sort of government (not like Saddam’s), find or try to find the regime of Saddam, find Saddam & his sons (if they’re still alive) & help the Iraqi people establish their own Democratic government & make sure that we don’t leave them hangin’. The Iraqi people are in cayos right now & need some kind of order as well as aid, food & other necessities that we Americans, Britians, Canadians & the alike, take for granted. Plus, we must not forget, that our Troupes are still fighting a war there; not all the cities in Iraq are secure; also, there’s still more fighting yet to come.
The other thing is we can’t forget about the other war that’s still going on; what’s that 1; the war on terrorism in Afghanistan. We still have many of our Troupes still fighting in that war; & we still haven’t fisnished that 1 nor secured the Afghanistan people. The Afghan people also need our assistance, food & the alike; we can’t just forget about them.

Hi All,
I believe in a peaceful solution to getting Saddam, if he’s still alive, to reveil all the weapons of mass destruction, then inprison him; I don’t believe in creating World War III, which we’re in right now. By the time this war began, the UN was finding all kinds of things that would make a weapon, not just the Chemical & Bioligical weapons. We should be supporting our soldiers, not the guy who put them them, President Warmogar Bush, or as my parents like to call him, King George; King George is the 1 we should rally against, not the soldiers.
I think that anyone who for this war should read the peaceful, Anti-Bush posts, so that may be there can be an understanding to anyone who’s opposing this war; I also think that if anyone who’s for this war believes that those of us opposing this war is Anti-American, not supporting our Troupes & pro-terrorism, better realize & understand that there are many of us who oppose World War III & are Anti-Bush, but [b]we do support our soldiers[/b]; we’re just Anti-King George, & none of us support terrorism, you just pay way too much attention on those Protestors who make the rest of us who oppose this war like fools. Yes, I’m opposing this war, but I believe there are peaceful solutions to everything; anyway, it’s King George who wanted World War III in the 1st place.
In all the posts I’ve been reading here, I don’t hear or see anyone writing about what’s going happen after this war’s over & the US has conquered & taken over Iraq; no body’s writing about post-war Iraq, it’s all just about the war. I’d like to have something written about what will happen after this war’s over.

What I mean by that A-DM is after the US takes over Iraq & liberates the people, who’s going to become President of Iraq & who would want that job; also, since our Troupes have seized Saddam International Airport, there’s no way in knowing how the citizens of Bagdad are going to respond to our Troupes. Hopefully this time, we’ll take Saddam down & not do like 1991 & just leave the Iraqi people hangin’ yet 1 more time.
There’s no arguement that both pro & anti groups are supporting our Troupes oversees & pray they return safely; it’s why they’re there in the 1st place. I support our Troupes in memory of the 3 Vaughn men (Great Uncles Clem & Marion & Granddaddy, G. H. Vaughn) who came back alive from serving World War II; also, I do pray for our Troupes safe return back home, so they can be with their families again.
Here’s what I think should’ve of happened instead us going to war with Iraq: [color=blue]President Bush needed to [b]listen to the UN Officials[/b] & [b]why France, China, Germany & Russia oppose this war[/b], let the UN Officials keep finding these `weapons of mass destructions’ & let them (UN Officials) finish their work they’ve started & finish his work that he started, & still ongoing, in finding the Tallyban in Afghanistan, 1st; [u]this President will be known as the unfinished President, he never finishes what he starts.[/u][/color] This is just my own opinion & also the way I feel about it.
There’s no disagreement that Saddam Hussain is a terrible person & should be oust, but as I said before, who’d take over as President of Iraq, who’d want the job & it would be the toughest job after this war’s over; our job there is not done & I do hope our President doesn’t just leave the Iraqi people hangin’ like his father did, then who knows what will happen.

All I can say about this war is I wish all our Troupes to come back safe, sound & no more injuries or deaths. I wish we weren’t having this war at all, but no one asked us; so let’s all here just get along & help others as much as we can.

I appreciate your point-of-view & hope your brother comes back safe & sound; I do hope he’s not 1 of the POW’s caught in this aweful war. If you need to talk, just e-mail me or send me a private message.
I’ll tell you what I think should’ve happened if you please tell me what’ll happen after World War III (this war) is over & how are we going to liberate the Iraqi people after the war.
No one manipulted me or convinced me of my feelings, except me; these are my views & no one elses.

You made a good point about this war & I’m glad you wrote that great post; I’m also glad you brought up some very good points about war that we all tend to forget, `War is death; war kills’.

Please let your friend know that I really enjoyed reading his/her article & that he/she made some wonderful points about war.

I hope that everyone here doesn’t forget the Lady in NY Harbour (Statue of Liberty) & why the French gave her to us; I just hope they (the French) don’t ask for her back; she our symbol of peace, or at least, I think so. Also we must remember that not all the countries (China, Russia, France, Germany, most Muslem Countries) don’t support this war; they all believe that we Americans are concerers & just want more than just freedom for the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussain. & who knows, Saddam may not be alive; & if he is, it’s likely that he’s injured; & what about his aweful sons; they’re just as bad as their father.

Hi Fellow Australian Lexxians,
I’d suggest watching all of it, you’ll enjoy the show; I enjoyed the whole show, especially season 3 & 4.
My favourite of season 2 is `Wake the Dead, End of the Universe’; my favourites from season 3 are: `Fire & Water, Girltown, K-Town, Heaven & Earth & couple of others I can’t think of right now’; my favorites from sean 4 are: `The Trip, Yo Way Yo, among others’.
I hope you enjoy the marathon & have fun watching them.
